3D Printed 2-Jar Hive Feeder

Placed on top of the inner lid center hole, this feeder will hold two-quart jars to feed the hives with sugar syrup.

The wire mesh is standard metal window screen. Do not use the non-metal screen as the bees will chew through it. Best if cut to size before assembly, undersize by 1/8" to 1/4" on both dimensions. You can also use #8 hardware cloth, such as McMaster-Carr #9217T23.

The screws are #4-20 x 1/2" thread forming screws for plastic, McMaster-Carr part number: 99461A130 or equivalent.

Once assembles, use a hot glue gun to inject glue in through the 4 holes spaced around the screened opening. Once cooled, this will secure the screen in place.
