The project files are organized into folders for easier printing and navigation. For that reason, stl file preview is turned off.

This is a fan art representation and a 3d printable stl files diy kit inspired by the lightsaber as seen in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. This is not an officially licenced product and has not relation to lucasarts, disney etc, it is a personal interpretation and a guide to help you build your own diy projects.

(this is a digital file - you need a 3d printer to be able to use this one)

ABOUT THE PROJECT

It is scaled to fit an average human hand.

The files are made with extra care to attention and 3d printability in mind, so its a fairly simple print and assembly. Check out the photos to see what's included. Links for electronics and parts are also included.

INCLUDED:

NON FUNCTIONAL VERSION
  • split into parts version

  • fully combined version

  • additional parts to choose from

  • screen used info, sizing and photos were used to recreate a most accurate screen used lightsaber 3d printable representation.

  • when assembling part3 - "dot" side goes upwards

    FUNCTIONAL LIGHTSABER VERSION
  • uses ''standard" lightsaber electronics used across mysterymakers lightsaber projects

  • for structural strength there are less parts than in the "non functional" version. Body parts are fused so they are strong enough to be used after 3d printing

  • parts are slightly adjusted so there is a minor change on the design to compensate for the "electronics" need.

  • differences are few mm longer on the part "7" and the top portion that can hold the blade as well as the light emitter.

  • body 1 interior is slightly wider to compensate for electronics parts. Visually there is not much difference between functional and non functional version

  • included are both body versions with hidden screws and "visible" screws. The visible screws option is easier to work with but less "screen accurate".

  • part "11" acts as a ignition button for the saber once the electronics are inside, so it is possible to completely hide electronics inside the functional hilt.

BOTH OPTIONS CAN USE THE BELT CLIPS:

belt clip :

2 options to choose from - both options have fully combined version and split into parts version
