This Snap enables you to insert an M4 nut mid-print, allowing you to attach accessories that use a screw.

This is a “Weight Bearing Snap” so it can take more weight than regular Snaps, but it has to be inserted into the Multiboard Tiles at the correct orientation, with the arrow pointing upwards.

Printing Guidelines:

While slicing at a layer height of 0.2mm, drop in the nut by pausing the print between layers 38 - 40 (once it reaches layer 41 it will start to bridge over that slot). Always triple-check check the nut is short enough to fit in.

This is a "print at your own risk" file. If you feel uncomfortable, it's best not to do it. We do not hold any responsibility if you break your 3d printer by putting a nut in too early or too long for the nut slot.

Apart from that, default printing guidelines apply: The printing orientation is as provided in the file. The print has been designed to be “3 wall perimeters” in wall thickness. Printed at a layout height of 0.2 mm. It doesn't need printing supports. Use the default 15% infill. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.

This object is part of Multiboard, a FREE "all in one" organization system with 700+ parts, that combines pegboard holes, honeycomb snaps, Gridfinity like bins, threads, brakes, and much more.
