Use the “Command Strip Mount” to mount your Multiboard Tiles with a command strip. These are “Bolt-Lock Versions” and are useful if you want your entire Multiboard or segments of your Multiboard to be easily removable.

The part has a 4.6 mm offset that is paired with 3M Command Strips (3.4 mm thick), to create a total 8 mm offset from the surface. It has one push-fit and can fit a 24x20 mm command strip.

To set it up…

  1. Connect your Tiles together using:
  • DS Snap Connectors (Part A & Part B) - When paired with the bolt lock mounts, this will create an 8 mm offset from the wall (look at image 3).
  • Or use Regular Snap Connectors - When paired with the bolt lock mounts, the offset will be less than 8 mm, so to get the 8 mm offset use Bolt-Lock Mount Washers (look at image 4).
  1. Then secure the mounts to your Tiles using 13 mm Small Thread Bolts.

  2. Attach the Mounts to the surface using Command Strips. Follow the Official 3M Instructions.

Printing Guidelines:

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. The print has been designed to be “3 wall perimeters” in wall thickness. Printed at a layout height of 0.2 mm. It doesn't need printing supports. Use the default 15% infill. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.

This object is part of Multiboard, a FREE "all in one" organization system with 700+ parts, that combines pegboard holes, honeycomb snaps, Gridfinity like bins, threads, brakes, and much more.
