“Folded Bolts” are the strongest type of 3D printed bolt because of their print orientation, and they have better grip strength than a T-Bolt.

This bolt has a “small thread” that can screw into the Multiboard pegboard holes, or into any part that has a small thread hole.

The 13mm thread length enables you to securely join two Multiboard tiles together without the bolt protruding through the other side.

It has a “flat” head to facilitate clearance in case the bolt head is in the way (like a corner in a shelf bracket).

The bolt also has a 6.5mm shank, allowing you to connect two Multiboard tiles together and form a press connection between them, without the bolt causing any unintended rotation.

Printing Guidelines:

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. The print has been designed to be “3 wall perimeters” in wall thickness. Printed at a layout height of 0.2 mm. It doesn't need printing supports. Use the default 15% infill. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.

This object is part of Multiboard, a FREE "all in one" organization system with 900+ parts, that combines pegboard holes, honeycomb snaps, Gridfinity like bins, threads, brakes, and much more.
