The “dual snap connector” is used to connect two tiles together with snaps.

This is a “Double Sided Part A” piece, so it joins with the Dual Snap Connector - DS Part B to create nice looking snaps on both sides of your tiles.

Printing Guidelines:

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. The print has been designed to be “3 wall perimeters” in wall thickness. Printed at a layout height of 0.2 mm. It doesn't need printing supports. Use the default 15% infill. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.

UPDATE: All of the Double-Sided Snaps (Part A’s and Part B’s) have been updated and are NOT compatible with the old versions. Click here to discover what has changed.

You can still access the old parts in the Multiboard Legacy Parts listing.

FYI, the files appear to be named "Part B," but contain part A.

Yeah. so.. Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I haven't had any issues with multiboard parts until these things. Apparently I'm an idiot, because I figured they'd link together panels like the offset ones do. However, these things don't have enough clearance between the little feet to have the clearance for a tile's "rib" to fit through correctly. Every last one I've printed, in many colors, just snaps in the middle and becomes useless. What are they for or what am I doin wrong? I'm lost.

@KeepMaking - can you re-name the file to give it the correct name, please? (As mentioned in other comments this is the correct file for a Dual Snap Connector Part A, but it downloads as Dual Snap Connector Part B.)

Yes. The file name is mislabeled as part B. This is part A. It's a thinner version of this 8mm mount version. I believe this is to be used for surface mounts. https://thangs.com/designer/Keep%2520Making/3d-model/8%2520mm%2520-%2520Dual%2520Offset%2520Snaps%2520%2528DS%2520Part%2520A%2529-974338

The Dual Snap Connector is a smart solution for connecting tiles seamlessly. It’s great that it’s designed for easy printing with no supports needed, and the 0.25 mm tolerance makes it a versatile fit for most printers. The double-sided design ensures a clean and neat connection on both sides of the tiles Stena 9009, perfect for smooth, modular setups.

Yep, I tried as well and they are part A.
