Medieval chess design
Continuing the collection of board games, like tic-tac-toe and soon Quoridor, today I bring you this new chess set design. Developed from an articulated, compact, and functional system, it's designed for easy transport and storage. The pieces stay in place thanks to magnets, making each game practical and organized. Furthermore, each piece features a medieval-inspired design, adding value to the set.
This is how we created a design object that unites playability, aesthetics, and functionality.
In the 3mf file, a pause was added so that the magnets can be placed and the printing can continue without having to glue anything, and so that they remain hidden. The magnets are 5mm x 1mm.
