About this item: This topographic model of Yosemite National Park focuses on Yosemite Valley and its surroundings. Measuring 36x24x4 inches, it's suitable for display as a standalone piece to mount directly on a wall with stick mounting strips or adhesive, or to be framed and hung from the wall. The model is made from six pieces that can be mounted closely together, showing the park's terrain including peaks, valleys, and waterways. The highest points extend 4 inches from the wall, providing depth to the representation. Weighing 19 lbs, it's light enough for mounting on drywall and similar wall materials. Steps:

1. Import the STL to your slicer.
2. Scale the X or Y dimension to the desired size with 'Uniform scale' checked. Size it according to the frame or area you want the final piece to occupy. Take note of the scale % and be sure to scale each piece the same way.
3. (Optional) Scale up the Z dimension to accentuate the 3D features.
4. Use default slicer settings for your printer with the smallest layer height it can do. For maximum detail, use 0.10 - 0.16 mm layer height. You can use a larger layer height to draw attention to the topographical lines that are naturally created with the layer stair-stepping.
5. Slice and print.
6. Mount in a frame or directly on a wall surface.
