I used to love these kinds of puzzles where you have a set number of pieces and you have to assemble them into an object. But now, 3D printing enables me to create my own versions of this brain teaser. I have uploaded 5 different puzzles each making a sphere once assembled.
This is Sphere Puzzle nr 5. It is made from 15 pieces, but don’t let yourself think that it will be a very simple solution. It will give you a challenge, but that’s the fun part.
If you like this design don’t forget to like the design page. If you like the design, but don’t want to download it yet, be sure to add it to “collections” to not forget about it. And if you print it out, don’t forget to add a make and show off your Sphere puzzle nr.5.
This Sphere puzzle takes 5 hours of total print time and uses 50 meters of material (based on printing on default settings of Bambu Lab P1P printer).
Due to the nature of the pieces, some of them will require supports, however, the supported areas are all flat and it’s easy to remove the supports. (I used organic tree supports with 0.1mm distance from the top and with max bridge length of 1 mm).
