This Reversible Do Not Disturb Desk Sign is a 3D printable, three-sided status indicator designed to clearly communicate your availability. Shaped as an extruded triangle, the sign features two main functional sides: a red “Do Not Disturb” face with restrictive icons and text, and a green “Come Chat With Me” face that signals openness and availability. The third side is intentionally left blank, keeping the design clean and flexible for different environments.

The purpose of this design is to reduce unnecessary interruptions while keeping communication friendly and intentional. Instead of repeatedly explaining your focus level, a simple rotation of the sign does the talking for you. When assembling the sign, it’s important to pay attention to orientation: make sure that when one of the two main faces is placed facing downward on the desk, the visible side is not upside down. Correct alignment during assembly ensures that the text and icons are always readable from the intended viewing angle.

This design is also part of a personal challenge I’m doing for the year 2026: designing and releasing a brand new 3D printable model every single day for an entire year.
