This contraption will save the USB Port on the Rode NT-USB from wearing out and breaking over time. You simply slide the strain relief on the round bit on the bottom of the microphone and plug the cable in. (It is directional, stick the cable in the hole of the strain relief first and then plug it in the Microphone and then slide the strain relief on the microphone)
