Shocking Unprotected?
The new Qidi Tech Q1 Pro 3d printer just launched, and some folks feel the chamber heater is unsafe. The unit has a 110V(or 240v in other markets) chamber heater with mains voltage running through the fins when activated. This could pose a serious shocking hazard if improperly handled. To help mitigate this, I designed up an add-on grate to go in front of the factory grille and provide further protection!

NOTE: This is designed to attach to the front an active chamber heater, as such material choice is CRITICAL. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Improper material choice could result in fire or molten plastic. Flame retardant filaments are likeliest to be safe but research what is available to you. I take on NO responsibility or liability for damage cause by the use of this part.
