A remix 500 years in the making. I took SMK's excellent 3D scan of the Head of Michelangelo's David and destroyed it in a beautiful way. It's a somewhat challenging dual color print. The geode section shouldn't require supports, but the head itself will. I tilted the entire model when printing to try to minimize supports on the facial features. If I were to reprint today I'd also use organic supports to save time and material.
I've also included a Single Part file to print everything together...you'll have to paint the geodes or something to get the full effect!

Very nice model, I've printed off both pieces but I cannot seem to get the Geode into the head. Any advice?
I got it to work by using a heat gun to warm them then bend the edges some. Once together I heated them again and pressed the plastic together to close the gaps.
It's actually meant to be printed in one go with a dual color printer, but if the heat gun thing works color me impressed!
