I love drawing inspiration from nature, and one of the things I've admired are the swoops that form on the chipped surface of rocks, mimicking the valleys and crests of a rough sea. From that admiration I created these Flint Vases.

These 4 vases are variations of a common form, stretched in different directions.

Print in vase/spiralize mode. 0 top layers, and at least 2 bottom layers (I like to use 10-15 for a more bottom heavy print). Layer height should probably be kept below .2mm as some overhangs are a bit steep. Smaller layer heights tend to improve the surface quality. I also set my extrusion width to 0.8mm for my 0.4mm nozzle for sturdiness.

Models pictured were printed with Polyalchemy Elixir PLA, which is no longer for sale, so I'd recommend MatterHackers Quantum PLA... that will look awesome!
