Auxetic Cubes // 18mm 7x7 Stacked

These auxetic structures swivel and expand in surprising ways! This is a 7x7 variation with a total of 49 squares, each 18x18mm. A cool demonstration of auxetics that is fun to fidget with. This stacked variation is twice as tall with double the hinges to add strength and rigidity along the Z plane... a.k.a. more smooth & satisfying fidgeting! Combine with 18mm Auxetic Tiles to create transforming artworks!

Printing Guidelines

Fairly loose requirements, just make sure your printer isn't overextruding and has decent cooling so none of the parts fuse. I used 0.16mm layer height, 3 shells. No supports!
