The Cobogó is a modular, perforated wall element, typically Brazilian, providing natural light and ventilation; fundamental concepts of bioclimatic architecture. The Origin of the Cobogó: Created in 1929 by three individuals working in construction: the Portuguese merchant Amadeu Oliveira COimbra, the German Ernst August BOeckmann, and the Pernambuco engineer Antônio de GÓes (whose surnames' initials formed the word).
