Holes are sized at 13 mm to allow for dowel variations and painted finishes.

Simply insert the dowels into one leg, rotate the stand upright, and press the other leg into place.

Add the optional middle leg for extra stability on longer shelves.

Usually, the parts press-fit snugly, but you can add glue if you want a permanent build.
