This spacer is designed to take up the space between the engine case and the shift lever on models of Triumph's water cooled twins where the shift lever is mounted directly to the shaft without spacers. This is intended to help protect the internal shift mechanism in the event of a drop on the shift by distributing force against the side of the engine case and providing some dampening from the soft material of the spacer.

I recommend measuring the distance between your shift lever and the side of the engine case and adjusting the model size to ensure proper fit.

This should work on all liquid cooled models of Triumph Scrambler and Speed Twin 900 and 1200, as well as T100 and T120 Bonnevilles with the direct mount shifter.

This spacer rests against the clutch cover, a heat resistant material should be considered.
