Hey i could really use help with following the instructions to make the 4mm mesh for the sieve part. how do you set the printer settings correctly to make the 4mm mesh on the part? im using an elegoo Centuri Carbon. Help please and thanks.
hi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBNBLF1DaF8
basically you add a height range modifier for 0-2mm and set the top and bottom layer to 0 and the inflill to 20% and grid this should result in the bottom 2mm only be printed in grid infill
printed this after seeing the video by Next Layer on youtube. Works pretty great, once the material gets to the sifter. The hopper seems to get stuck a lot. Definitely some of my material is too big, but not sure the best solution besides manually sifting before loading. Maybe multiple layers of sifter with different sizes?
thank you!
you can extend the linkage arm from the motor to the sieve a bit (by 6mm or so) so it will hit the funnel, and shake it a bit. someone else has already done this mod. i ddint have time to test this tough
I did see that, helps a lot. I also just... grabbed a metal rod and use it to clear jams. :D
What do you use to turn it back into filament?
the artme mk3s extruder
