Meet Mizu!

This water element dragon has an awesome wing design that makes it so fun!

The wing design features fan style wings with clip on fins! this allows you to print the fins separately which gives the dragon a pop of color! It is super simple assembly with adding the extra fins on the posts and then the star fish caps just pop in place securely

The fins print horizontally which greatly decreases the risk of losing adhesion and the whole plate This model is for PERSONAL USE ONLY, if you want a commercial license and access to more awesome models you can get it on my patreon https://www.patreon.com/Layersingreen

3D printing settings Important Information:

The clip on fins were made to have a tight tolerance, you must be careful when adding them to the post without using excessive force. They were made to be tight so that they can be posable. if you find yourself struggling with getting them on you can do a few things: Using a deburring tool on the inside of the hole to increase the diameter slightly

Reprinting the fins that didn’t fit and scaling them up by 2% Please double check the fins to make sure they were added on correctly as once the caps are on it will be difficult or impossible to get them off without damaging the posts. The bottom fins can be distinguished by a small dot near the bottom of the fin The top fins should go in the order of big fin first and then small fin on top when adding the caps it is best to place them directly on top of the posts and using your palm to push them in

Scaling: Mizu was tested down to 80% and up to 125% I don’t recommend printing her smaller than 80% If you found the tolerances to be too tight I recommend printing the clip on fins at 82% for an 80% Mizu

When scaling 125% and above the fins and caps should be printed 2% smaller in order to combat the increase in tolerances. This means for a 125% Mizu print the fins and caps at 123%
