Isopods and Terrarium
Im excited to release these little friends and a their terrarium today!
Isopods
-
3 walls, 15% gyroid or 3D honeycomb infill, no supports. I recommend using a brim with 0.3 gap on PEI plates
-
Tested down to 70%
-
there are 3 different types: regular, spikey, and rubber ducky!
Editing 3MF
-
Avoid using the slicer's fill tool when coloring eyes, and eye shines in the 3MF files, because they are split to parts. Instead, assign color to them from the object list to make the edges look cleaner. Do not split to objects. The rest of the parts can be painted using the fill tool and toggling the smart fill angle.
-
Eye shine objects can be right clicked from the object list and deleted. I recommend doing this if scaling smaller than 100%
-
Please note that 3MFs will load with a custom profile that I used to print these models. Double check your settings prior to printing.
Isopod Terrarium
-
3 walls, 15% gyroid or 3D honeycomb infill, no supports
-
one 100% isopod fits in the cave. I recommend scaling down to 70% to fit 3 or more isopods.
-
If using translucent filaments for the base try printing with no infill, 0.24 layer height and 2 walls to get a glass effect
-
Adding post printing features like fake moss, plants, and little pieces of wood helps bring it all together, see the youtube short of how this can be done!
⭐As with all of my designs, I strongly advise that the printed models are not to be handled by children under 3 without proper supervision⭐ + + 📌This model is for PERSONAL USE ONLY, to sell prints of these designs you will need to SUBSCRIBE TO THE MERCHANT PLAN available on my profile page - Click here📌

Is there any way to pay you to add one where the bottom is a different color? Like a lemon blue? I cannot model to save my life and my hands shake too much for the painting tool
hii!! If you are looking to add a layer of blue to the bottom you can use the "height range" paint tool and it'll let you paint an entire layer section blue! Its quick and doesn't require hand painting 🥰
