Hiii!!!

I was finally able to actualize the idea of long kitties in the form of clickers! For these to work I had to flip the way the clicker switch and insert get printed.

I have spent some time reworking the clicker insert once more for a fit that snaps the switch into place. Originally, I was worried that printing the cap down on the plate would create issues with it fitting (elephant foot artifact closing the insert for the switch stem, adhesion issues, weak stem) but I think the pros outweigh these con.

Switches need to be inserted correctly for them to click properly

If switches are too fitting too tightly, they may get stuck. Decrease your flow rate by a little to loosen the fit of the switch.

Test one before printing several!

You will need 2 switches for these clickers. I used Kailh Jade Switches for these

If the new switch insert isn't working for you let me know!

You guys have mentioned that you'd want these as book marks so I'll be working on converting them into bookmarks 🥰

3 walls, 15% gyroid or 3D honeycomb infill, no supports

I strongly recommend increasing the Top shell thickness to minimum 2 mm (this is already included in the 3MF custom profile)

IMPORTANT

Please don't use the fill tool to recolor the 3MF. This goes for all my 3MF files but especially these. Use the object list from the left-hand side panel to assign color the separate parts if needed. Each object will have a color assigned to them which can be changed by clicking on the little square color tab across from the object name on the list
not everything will be split to parts, the snout and paw pads can be recolored using the fill tool, they will not show up in the object list.
Using the fill tool to manually recolor will make the slicer "weave" the colors into each other instead of printing them separately, when this happens you are likely to get colors bleeding through others and get uneven edges.

I've added fishy keychain bling that can be added to the ball chain keychains for the keychain version. These can be put on the keychains as is, or with a jump ring.
