Hi everyone! Back in August, I released my Mermaid design. Now, she has some company. Meet her newest little friend, the Merman! :)

Just like the mermaid, he features articulated neck and hip joints, but this time, I’ve made a few improvements for extra durability! The arms are now connected directly to the body instead of using the smaller articulated joints, which makes the model sturdier and easier to scale down without losing strength.

Printing Tip His hair was manually painted in Bambu Studio. When painting in Bambu Studio, do not use the fill bucket tool for this design because it will color his entire head. Instead, switch filaments directly from the AMS color selection screen to get the best results. If you’d like the tail to be a different color from his hair, just select the tail in the Objects menu to modify it separately.

I’d love to hear your thoughts — what do you think about mermaids and mermen? Would you like to see more variations, like different hairstyles, accessories, or even themed versions?
