Pencil Carousel and Rotary Sharpener

This is a hand crank driven desktop pencil carousel which is designed to store 36 pencils. The geometry of the base of the carousel raises the pencils upon turning the crank in one direction. When turning the crank in the other direction, it activates the sharpening element in the middle. All shavings are then caught in a removable bin.

Small Weed Remover

This device I designed is able to remove small weeds nestled in between bricks and tiles. Once the top of the device is pressed, similar to a stamp, a forked arm will extend and hook the stem of the weed, it is then pulled up and removed.
