What does Gridfinity 3x4 or 2x5 mean? Gridfinity is a modular, open-source organization system that uses a grid to attach/organize multiple boxes or holders to items. Gridfinity Baseplate is optional and not required. 2x4 or 2x5 is the grid size on the bottom. A 2x5 Desktop Organizer is larger than a 2x4 (show below).
