Flying Saucer UFO for Bellamys3DPrints Alien

Collaboration with Bellamys3DPrints and his cute Little Flexi Alien!

This flying saucer has print in place unfolding landing gears and landing gear locks. The top dome swivels up and down.

Printing tips The Dome Ring should be printed in PETG because of the snap-in hinge.

There are two versions of the dome, normal and vase mode (although the vase mode version is easier to print normally too without supports). When printing normally, use 0% infill, 1 perimeter/wall and no bottom layers. When printing vase mode, set bottom layers to 0.

Assembly tips Push and snap the dome into the dome ring while aligning the four bumps in the ring and the dome. Then push the ring hinge into the slot on the saucer body. Pliers help push the hinge prongs in!
