Gridfinity Ink Pad Stackable Drawers
This is a different take on Ink Pad storage for Papercrafting. Ink pads are 34mm square, so they fit nicely in a 42mm Gridfinity grid. This model is a holder that fits on a 4x4 Gridfinity space, and holds 4 drawers that each hold 4 ink pads.
The Drawer started life as a 1x4 Gridfinity bin, to which I added a handle, extruded 4 pockets for the ink pads, added some cutouts so you can get your fingers in to grab the ink pad, and narrowed the outside dimension so the drawer fits in the body.
I put a Gridfinity baseplate on the top of the body, so they are stackable. Stack them to the moon!
Printing this as a one-piece model would have been challenging, so I separated them into a top plate, body, and bottom plate. There are locating pins to align them. Since the body has to be printed vertically, the tops or the holes may sag so you'll want to run a deburring tool around them to open them up enough to get the pins through. Then just superglue the top and bottom plates to the body.
Here's your chance to use up all those wierd filament colors you've been sitting on - print each drawer in a different color to match the ink pads inside! Or, not!

The wife is VERY pleased with these. We did a small change, having one top and bottom, and glued four body's together, so that she can have them size by side, or stack the set of four on top of each other.
Thank you for the model! These were our first gridfinity items!
