Got the full size Yoto player for my toddler, but it's very wobbly on the round charger stand, making it hard to press the buttons on top. I made a simple stand to make it more stable  but still possible to remove for portability. Best to print in TPU so it doesn't slide around on the table when the kids move it around or just press buttons. Printed with 4 walls and zero top/bottom skins so the infill makes it look spiffy and maybe gives it better grip on the table. 

Yoto Player Stand

This kit allows you to convert your old Eachine VR-008 box goggles into a free-standing monitor. Great for use on the workbench, or just to show to multiple people so they don't need to put goggles on.  Attach your battery to the lower part of the back using velcro and the battery will act as a stand for the screen! Pictured is a 1100mah 2s battery. Completely reversible, uses original hardware - only have to trim the long scan button as shown in the photo, then attach buttons to inside of lid/back with a tiny dot of hot glue. Adds a spot on the back for a JST plug so you don't need to use the original barrel connector - to do this, add your JST plug as shown in the photos, and mount it to the PCB with some hot glue. That's completely optional, though it does clean things up by having the plug in the back. This is my first real model to create  from scratch, and it has brought new life to my old box goggles that were only collecting dust since I'd upgraded to something better.

Each guard attaches with a single zip-tie - I prefer that so the motors are solidly screwed to the arms and screws are easily accessible for repairs. The center "strap" should easily push aside if you need to change a bell.

13 May 2021: Revised part with tighter tolerances, removed excess overhang that needed a bunch of support (but kept a little on each side to make it snap on nice and snug), added locator pin and motor protection
