This amazing model is a showcase what is possible with vase mode printing!
Transform your ordinary Fado lamp into an art piece. With the use of transparent filament a big nozzle a "almost like glass"-effect is possible.
Print settings: Here is the setup I used. After that some comments Cura slicer 1.8mm CHT nozzle vase mode 1.5mm layer height 3mm line width 0 bottom layers build plate adhesion: none
To get a perfect result there might be some experimenting necessary. By extruding these thick layers you need to go very very slow (like 4mm/s). You need to use Cura as other slicers so not support these values. I haven't found a workaround for Bambulab printers... If you're not able to swap your nozzle or don't want to purchase one, you can achieve good results with a 0.8mm nozzle too (3mm line with, 0.8mm layer height) is possible....
Filament: For this particular one I used Spectrum PLA Crystal Clear. But I will do many more prints with Bambulabs PETG transparent. There will be videos on my instagram soon.
