This is my first Karambit knife design, intended to be assembled without using screws. Just put the blade on and you're done! It is compact and ergonomic, which makes it practical and comfortable to carry and use. I have added 2 versions of the design, one with holes and another with bas-reliefs. Also added 2 versions of the "blade blocker", one with higher tolerances, in case the other doesn't fit.

This design has a "print in place" wheel grip, making it easier to spin, turning it into a fidget.

If some tolerances do not fit, try modifying -/+ the horizontal expansion on the slicer. I would like to receive your feedback to improve this design if necessary. I hope you have fun printing my design! I would like to see your print of this design! Please upload your "make" tagging my design and leave a "like" and follow me! Help my work become even more visible.

ATTENTION! It is important that each printer is well calibrated and the laminator well configured to achieve a good print!

It does NOT need supports.

Hey Boss Mine came out super loose. The fidget ring is almost falling out. The blade guard barely locks on and the blade its self is loose. Do you have a Lower tolerance version? Its a great design just a bit loose overall for me to feel comfortable using it.

Hi my friend, check out the downloadable files for an edge blocker that has a tighter tolerance. You can also try increasing the "horizontal expansion" of all the pieces in the laminator. Set it to "0.1" or "0.15" so that all the pieces have slightly wider walls. Try it and let me know how it went.

For clarity the blade fitment is loose and so is the "fidget" swivel in the handle. Just the blade blocker alone wont fix that. Ill keep messing around with it in my free time and let you know. I think I can fix blade looseness with a combination of reduced z ratio and the smaller blocker. But I have no trick for the pivot swivel. Any print settings you used with success?

layer height: 0.24 first layer height: 0.32 line width: 0.48

Walls wall thickness: 1 horizontal expansion: 0.1 or 0.15 (Horizontal expansion causes the filament to expand slightly as it is laid down. This concept is mentioned in the "Cura Slicer." It may have another name in other slicers. Basically, you should be able to solve the problem with just that setting. It's a setting I use a lot depending on the filament's condition, which sometimes has greater or lesser tolerances.
