🦐 Flexi Mantis Shrimp – self-designed and 3D-printed

After repeatedly getting requests for a flexible mantis shrimp, I searched everywhere for a suitable model – but didn’t find one. So I decided to model the Flexi Mantis Shrimp entirely myself.

The model was designed with a lot of time and attention to detail and is movable, so it feels nice to hold and manipulate. It’s perfect as a decoration, collectible, or small gift for anyone who loves sea creatures or 3D printing.

The Flexi Mantis Shrimp is printed in several parts and needs to be briefly assembled after printing.

The antennae need to be glued into the designated openings with a little bit of glue.

The small fins on the underside simply click into their slots.

The legs also just click in and will stay in place on their own.

The tail is attached to the head or main body with glue.

Finally, you just need to remove the support structures from the print. After that, your Flexi Mantis Shrimp is ready to go.
