I made this huge planter inspired by the movie 'annihilation' displayed above.
Fascinated by the beauty in the film I created a planter with frame to support many types of plants of your choice, I haven't seen a plant pot like this before so I knew I had to create it.
With time your plant will grow to form the shape of the figure, easy for you to trim and customize.
The model itself is huge and will be printed in sections but has sockets for you to connect together, along with a sliding drip tray in the back -unlike other printed planters, instead of screwing and unscrewing the base to remove water you simply slide out the tray quickly and easily.
Easily scalable to the size you require, there's plenty of tolerance so you can adapt the design to your printer.
This is my first attempt at this sort of creation, I hope you like it - if anyone likes the model and idea then please tell me if you wish for more styles in the future. A huge model when printed at full scale can take a very long time so scale how ever you want, photographed at original STL size.
Printed with 2 walls & 15% infill in silk PLA, for strength using silk extra infill is recommended however.
Tree supports used everywhere except for the pot which is recommended standard supports.
