Trick-OR-Treat. Halloween’s unofficial slogan. But why choose one? You won’t have to with this easy DIY Hallowearables Prank Candy Bowl!

How It Works:

• This design works using a fake hand. When you hold the bowl, as seen in the images, you hand will be inside the bowl, and the hand that you printed will serve as your real hand. This is why finishing the print with a glove or paint is important.
• At first, your hand might feel loose, this will be fixed later and is completely ok.
• Once you put your hand inside, you should cover up your arm until the printed hand with a long sleeve. This makes the illusion more convincing.
• Once you put your hand in, you should flatten it. As you flatten it, your hand should push against the side of the bowl, stabilizing it, and keeping it up on your arm.
• Once everything is ready to go, either put candy on top of your hand directly, for the best illusion, or, if you don’t like a mess, glue candy to the included organiser and place that on top.

Materials:

1. 3D Printer and Filament
2. Either Glove OR Paint
3. Super Glue
4. (Optional) A second glove

Steps:

1. Print Bowl and Hand (Organizer is optional for less mess, but may take away from the effet)
2. Either cover hand with glove or paint to match your skin tone.
3. Secure bowl to hand using super glue
4. (Optional) For less spillage, cover hole in bowl with glove. Attach glove with either super glue or tape
5. (Optional) Glue candy to organizer

Additional Notes:

1. The original hand file was modified significantly
2. All other parts of model are made by me
3. There was no specific reason that I chose the hand that I did. If you have the resources and you want to go all the way, you could even scan your own hand and use the bowl to cut out the hand and make it fit.
