Mace Windu's Lightsaber

Purchase model for $5 USD

I am happy to release another lightsaber this morning in Mace Windu’s iconic Lightsaber.

This is his saber used throughout the prequel trilogy. Feel like a BAMF wielding this hilt with a purple blade.

Per all of my lightsaber designs, this has been hollowed out and designed around the use of a TXQSABER core.

This uses two 4-40x1/2” screws to secure the core and a 1” diameter blade.

I did something a little different with this, including a solid emitter for a display piece and if warranted, I may go back and do the rest of them the same way!

Hi, could you add a picture of the finished lightsaber with the core added and espacily the buttons, please? I'm from germany and the links you provided in other sabers could not be opened because this type of core is not send to germany. So I ordered another core, but the buttons lie deep within. Is this the way it should be, or am I missing something?

Hey! Have you applied the screws to the front of the core through the smaller holes? That’s what pulls the buttons forward.

Of course, I didn't ! LOL That was the advice I needed! Thank you! Just another question: my blade isn't as snug as I want it to be, you mentioned to drill a hole and add a screw. Should I add a heatinsert in the hilt, or the blade? Or is it enough to give pressure on the blade with one screw drilled into the plastic of the hilt?

Kevin S

Generally, the pressure on the blade is enough, I’ve never had to drill through my blade

Ok, I'll give it a try! Thanks for your help!
