Battery Holder with optional Gridfinity base

Simple holder with compartments for AA and AAA batteries. It requires a minimum amount of plastic to print. I don't like the idea of having different organizers for these two types of battery so I created this design to keep them all in one place. You can also print dividers to separate discharged batteries and keep them in the same place.

Versions

  • Smaller (42x84x25mm)
  • Smaller with Gridfinity base (2x1 slots)
  • Bigger (42x168x25mm)
  • Bigger with Gridfinity base (4x1 slots)

Gridfinity versions are identical to normal but have a solid bottom with grid slots.

Printing

  • 2 wall perimeters
  • outer/inner wall printing order
  • doesn't require infill
  • 3 bottom shell layer

This was one of my rougher prints but not due to any fault with the design! (trying out a new slicer and figuring out the settings) I like the space efficiency of this design and especially like the hollowed out Gridfinity bin footprint. I would love to know if that bin footprint was an original design or if you know who came up with it so I know how to attribute it when I include it in my own designs. I have looked around a bit and have not been able to find other models that use it.

This is exactly what I was looking for amongst the plethora of great gridfinity battery holders. I was just about to open Fusion and make it myself when I found yours. Thanks for sharing!
