These canards were designed and oriented with inspiration from other functional designs for sale.
The canards were designed to be printed standing up on the narrow end. It's not the easiest print because of this, but I didn't want the sharp edges at the front. I was able to successfully print these by painting 3 evenly spaced lines of tree supports for the first 3" of the model to keep it from wobbling.
I also included the template files used for lining the canards up on both the driver and passenger side. These were created with a scan of the front bumper so they can slot into the seam between the bumper and fender with a little tab that goes near the headlight. Yes it uses a lot of plastic to print both sides, but the time saved measuring was worth it IMO.
