Keyboard Clicker Mount - Negative Modifier / Boolean Difference
Keyboard Clicker Mount - Negative Modifiers (2 Parts)
This two-part set provides clean, support-free negative modifiers (Boolean subtracts) for easily adding a keyboard-style clicker/switch to your custom 3D prints.
Parts:- Clicker Negative Top.stl (Press Side): Creates a hole featuring a cylinder and peg that securely grips the slanted side of the keyboard clicker. Apply this to the moving/push-button piece.
- Clicker Negative Bottom.stl (Switch Base): Creates a recessed hole with a retaining lip that firmly holds the keyboard switch body in place. Apply this to the fixed surface where the top part attaches.
Use these as negative modifiers directly in your slicer (negative volume) or in a modeling tool with Boolean subtract (Fusion 360, Blender, etc.).
Ideal For:- Custom mechanical keyboards
- Tactile buttons on enclosures, props, and gadgets
- Fun 3D printed fidgets and interactive models
- Designed so the created holes require no supports
- Print the modifiers in the same filament as your main model for best fit
- Test fit with your specific clicker/switch (minor scaling may be needed)
