Begonia plant with a secret
🌸 Begonia Plant with Secret Ladybird Lock 🐞
A decorative, interactive plant with hidden mechanics
This Begonia plant is more than just a pretty print. The leaves and flower are fully articulating, so the plant can be posed naturally or adjusted for different looks and they contain 4 × 2 mm magnets, making the model easy to assemble, adjust, and reconfigure.
The real surprise is hidden in the pot.
Inside is a secret locking mechanism controlled by a tiny ladybird:
🐞 When the ladybird eats the bug, the lock opens
🐞 When the ladybird is returned to its original position, the lock closes
There’s also a small hidden trick:
🕵️ If the ladybird is missing, the pot normally stays locked
🔄 But if the plant is flipped upside down, the lock can still be opened
A quiet little cheat for the curious.
