Desk Cup Holder
Designed by myself in OnShape
I moved and did not take my previous desk with me, so I needed to design a new cup holder to mount to the side of my new desk. Learning from my previous models. I figured I would start from scratch with the design. It is now larger than my previous design, as I found some of my larger mugs didn't quite fit. It also now mounts with a single screw into the side of the desk, rather than a passive mount, as this will now be more rigid and a permanent attachment to said desk. I did keep the three notches to allow for mug handles, so I redesigned those to be fairly similar to the previous design. The bracket protruding from the back of the model provides additional support for the print when a heavy mug full of liquid is placed inside.
Allows for any cups, bottles, etc. up to 3.25" in diameter.
This was designed for a ~1.125" desktop. The mounting hole is 0.5625" from the bottom of the desk.
Printed on an Elegoo Centauri Carbon with a 0.4mm Nozzle, using Inland Silver High Speed PETG+
