MINKY | Desktop bin
Meet MINKY, a stylish desktop bin with a minimalist swing lid.
The shape and pattern are inspired by a minke whale soaring vertically out of the water, showing its ventral pleats.
Count 2h of print time with a 0.8mm nozzle. And a bit less than 6h with a 0.4mm nozzle.
Happy printing!
DIMENSIONS | Ø121mm x H179mm
3D PRINT SETTINGS:: All STL files are already oriented properly. No supports, no adhesion brim needed.
BIN: Go with regular settings. Align the seams towards the back to make them more discrete. And you can save a little bit or print time by setting the top and bottom layer patterns to "concentric".
I printed the light green one with a 0.4mm nozzle, and the red one with a 0.8mm nozzle.
LID: Print with regular settings, no particular tricks there. As with the bin, I also set the top and bottom layer pattern to "concentric", but it's not absolutely necessary.
