Mount for Logitech 3D pro Joystick. Adds Length to provide higher sensitivity via extra range of movement.
This model is joined using M4 20mm Screws M4 X D6.0 X L5.0 Brass inserts
Please note that the wires housed within the joystick will need to be lengthened. I achieved this by cutting and soldering extra lengths onto the existing wires; although clips could be used.
I printed with PETG at 35% infill but likely PLA is fine .
It is advised to print on its side so that the layer seams run top to bottom. This will provide strength where the joystick clips on to the mount.

yo can i get a step file? did u do it in fusion or in solidworks?
I will also take this chance to mention that the ring spring that is used for the YAW/TWIST Hooks into the grip can not fit properly its possible that you may need to cut the model a very small amount (like 1 or 2 millimeter) where the spring hooks want to sit. this could be an error on my part or flaws in my printer and likely your printer will have slight differences as well. regardless its better to be slightly to big to allow for minor modification to suit as needed. if you need more
more help with this feel free to reach out for more information.
Hi cjstaleyhand.
You mentioned printing the model on its side? which side would you suggest? thank you so much for this, exactly what i was looking for and it's quite aesthetic as well. regards and thanks from South Africa
hey mate it has been along time since i printed this so i don't recall what orientation I used but as long as you don't print it upright it should be ok for strength . but probably to ensure there is no errors with the screw hole diameter i would print with the curved section down on . its hard to explain without images but if you look at the 3D model image I would rotate its 90 degrees counter clockwise . For example the image shows it like C where you should rotate this to be U
