We designed an annoying gift box that is attractive enough to use as Christmas decorations after you give it. We even have a version that you can make the bulbs light up with led fairy lights. You will need to be a member of our thangs membership to sell prints of this design.

You Will need to print: (1) Tree Main (1) Inside Cone (1) Bottom (4) Inside Pin (31) Bulbs Solid (31 needed but we recommend printing several extra) (1) Star Topper or Angel Topper

Print Recommendations: 10% Infill. .2 layer Height. No Supports on most printers.

This is an annoying Tree Gift Box File Set.

Don’t Forget to put your item inside of the “inside cone” before you start.

The inside of the Box is created with the Inside Cone and the Bottom. These two pieces are held together with push in pins (Inside Pins). Line up the 4 smaller holes located around the bottom base of the Inside Cone to match with the “Bottom” of the gift box. Then push in the inside pins on each of these locations.

Place the Tree Main on top of the Inside Cone. There is a triangle on top of each of the Tree main and the Inside Cone that allow for easy line up of the holes between the two pieces. Now you can begin the fun of screwing the light bulbs in. Please lightly start the bulbs one by one. You will want to have all of the bulbs in before tightening all the way. Please do not over tighten the bulbs due to the fact that they are plastic. The last part is to add the Angel or Star topper to the Tree Gift Box.

50% Print Size: Please note that the pins for the inside of the box are really small. You may only want to use only two pins.

Light Up Version: This version has bulbs that are open inside so that you can add LED lights. The inside cone also has a hole in the top so that the topper can be lit up. We do not recommend on this version making it any smaller as the LED lights may not fit. It is difficult to get the wires placed inside the bulbs with the gift inside. This would be great décor after opening if you print this version.
