This is a punchdown tool for terminating Cat5 into a RJ45 jack. The punchdown tool I had was damaged so I took the challenge of designing a tool which would print very quickly and require no supports.

 

Print Settings:
Material: PETG (any other material would likely work just as well)
Supports: None
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Layer Height: 0.12mm (improved detail and strength around the tool end)

This model makes it easy to make a barrel knot.

Because the tool is by necessity very small it is recommended that if you are printing only one to use a brim.  However, if you are printing multiples, I've engineered tabs to make it easy to remove the brim.

There are three different files:
1) The tool by itself
2) The tool with a simple tab frame added for filling a build plate
3) The tool in a 3x3 grid of engineered bed adhesion
