Desk Organizer with Secret Compartment

The Desk Organizer with Secret Compartment is a functional 3D printed organizer designed to keep your desk clean while hiding a small push-open storage tray underneath.

The top section works as a desk cup for pens, pencils, markers, tools, hobby knives, brushes, or small desk accessories. Inside, the divider helps separate items into sections so everything stays easier to grab. The bottom includes a hidden push-open tray that slides out from the base, making it useful for storing small items like SD cards, USB drives, coins, screws, notes, or other tiny parts.

The outside has a ribbed texture that gives the model a clean, modern look while also making it more interesting than a plain cylinder. The secret compartment adds a fun mechanical feature that makes this more than just a normal desk organizer.

Features Desk organizer with built-in hidden tray Push-open secret compartment design Ribbed outside texture for a clean modern look Divided top cup for pens, pencils, tools, and accessories Hidden lower tray for small parts or personal items Functional print for desks, workbenches, offices, and maker spaces Great for 3D printing fans who like useful mechanical designs What It Can Hold

Top organizer section:

Pens Pencils Markers Small tools Hobby knives Paint brushes Desk accessories

Hidden tray:

SD cards USB drives Coins Screws Small notes Tiny tools Spare parts Small personal items Print Notes Supports may be needed for the hooks, drawer opening, underside, or lever area depending on your printer and slicer settings. Print the tray and main body with clean tolerances for smooth sliding. If the tray feels tight, lightly sand the side rails or contact points. Make sure the push-open lever area is cleaned after printing. PLA works well for the main body. PETG can be used if you want extra durability. A 0.20 mm layer height should work well for most printers. 15% infill is a good starting point for normal desk use. Assembly Notes Print the main organizer body. Print the hidden tray and push-open parts. Remove supports from the hooks, drawer opening, underside, and lever areas. Clean the sliding surfaces so the tray moves freely. Install the push-open lever mechanism. Insert the tray into the base. Test the push-open action before loading items inside. If needed, lightly sand the tray sides until the movement feels smooth. Recommended Filament PLA for easy printing and a clean finish Matte PLA for a modern desk look PETG for extra durability Green PLA works great for the version shown
