I spend a lot of time working on trains and find myself unwrapping and coiling the power cord to my Surface Pro 4 power adapter a lot. Therefore after 26 months (which is good considering the amount used - no complaints there) the insulation on the cable near the cable gland is wearing thin and the supply is now intermittent. Therefore with my second power supply I decided to design\print a thing which keeps the cable in a fixed gentle radius near to the gland to hopefully reduce any erosion of the insulation and wires or at least slow the process down.
This is a small thing to help protect the wear and tear on the power adapter cable where it meets the retention gland and provides a guide for the power cord when winding around the adapter.
This thing was printed with 4 perimeters and 30% infill @0.2 resolution. No supports are required..
