Version 2 out now yes parts from version 2 can be used with this design https://than.gs/m/1517754 Here is Phone Clamp Car holder, This awesome design lets you attach your phone to your Car's Air vent and position your phone in any direction vertical or horizontal, The design is designed to be tight enough to hold your phone in position you May need to change settings to adjust the tightness of the design. To assemble the design Screw the Threaded screw into the base car clamp then Clip the round nut onto the end of the threaded screw I recommend Heating the end of the nut with a heat gun to allow easy connection, as the nuts are designed to be as tight as possible, Then Get the Phone clamp centre piece and put the smaller threaded screw into it, Then use the square nut and clamp that onto the ended of the threaded nut, Print settings supports needed for the Phone Car Clamp Centre Piece, Use Supports normal Overhang angle 20%, no Supports needed for the threaded nuts or clamps just print them flat head down, Print speed 100mms, Infill 20%, Nozzle Size 0.4mm, Layer Height 0.2mm,

I printed this one and I have some suggestions. the longer parts should be printed laying down on the bed making the layers run lengthwise. Layers are like grain in wood. Across the grain is the the weakest structure. When you snap it together parts pop off if you stand them up on the printer bed. I'm going to print those parts again laying them down so the layers run along the part instead of across.
