Drill Glock Magazine
This is a 3D-printable, non-functional replica of a Glock pistol magazine designed specifically as a drill/training aid. The model is hollow (empty inside) so you can add weight, custom inserts, or keep it light for gear-fitting and handling drills. It is intended for safe training, simulation, and kit-fitting only — not for live ammunition or functional use.
To ensure clear identification as a drill mag, print in blue (or another clearly non-lethal colour). This makes it obvious during training and prevents confusion with live magazines in military, law-enforcement, or airsoft environments.
Features: • 1:1 scale for realistic handling and fitment • Hollow interior for weight/infill customization • Non-functional design — cannot feed or chamber rounds • Must be printed in blue (or other non-lethal colour) to be clearly identifiable as a drill mag • Fits Glock-style magazine wells for ergonomics and training drills • Suitable for weapon manipulation drills, dry-fire practice (with safe protocols), kit fitting, and simulation rigs • Lightweight and cost-effective alternative to commercial drill mags
Recommended print notes: • Print orientation: vertical with base on build plate for best dimension accuracy • Infill: low if you plan to add custom weight; solid infill or inserts recommended if you want realistic heft • Tolerance: check fit against your model/replica and adjust XY scale slightly if a snug fit is required • Safety: always use with an unloaded firearm or training replica and follow institutional safety rules
Based on common drill magazine designs and training aids.
