I had some requests for my Ultimate Hueforge Frame in different sizes, so here is the frame for 158mm x 208mm prints. The frame itself is 180mm x 230mm. I added a second hanger cutout to this one so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape. There isn't much weight to these so a finishing nail is all you really need to hang it. You only need one of the lock types per frame. The rectangular one is for thin prints to support all sides.

This frame is for my models in the members area only. It will not fit standard 150x200 prints as the prints are modified to be 158x208. The reason for this is so that the extra 4mm on each side rest inside the frame and therefore the full 200x200mm print is visible from the front. All models that use this frame will be clearly marked: “V2 Frame Only”.

I will be adding models that fit this frame over time. If you want your own Hueforge models to fit this frame, follow the instructions below. NOTE: you will need to pay attention to the “Min Depth” setting in Hueforge. This setting is basically how thick it will print the base layers before starting to print the art in the base color. I use 0.64mm as I find that is a nice thickness to prevent bowing on models that have large amounts of the base color visible.

Create a plane/cube in your slicer that is 158x208x0.64mm (must be your min depth) Center the plane/cube. (Usually right click → Center) Import your Hueforge model (150x200) Center your Hueforge model. (Usually right click → Center) Select both the plane/cube and the Hueforge model and assemble them. (Usually right click → Assemble) You are good to go. You now have a 158x208 Hueforge model that will fit this frame and make the full image visible.

The hanger cutout is made so that prints with lob sided weight can be adjusted by using the teeth to easily level it. The frame is printed face down for a nice finish. Your plate type will determine the type of finish on the front side of the frame. I have used the gold textured plate that comes with the P1S in the attached photos.

PRINT and ASSEMBLY:

No supports needed. 3 wall loops and 0.16 Optimal layer height has provided the cleanest prints, especially the sides of the frame.

The locks can be printed with 2 wall loops and 0.20 Layer height. Print one frame and two straight locks or one rectangular one. The included 3MF has the settings above for their respective plates.

Place the frame face down on a surface that will not scratch it.

Orient your print face down so that the top aligns with the wall hanger cutout and insert it into the frame.

Insert one frame lock at a time and make sure you are pushing both ends in evenly. If you try to push one side at a time it will bind up. If you push one side in too far compared to the opposite side just flip it over and push it back out and retry until it is in properly.

It is a simple process and everyone that does not require a caution label on their coffee should breeze through it.
