Trem Blocker Floyd Rose Block
This Trem Blocker makes changing string gauges or changing tunings on a Floyd Rose equipped guitar far less frustrating. Simply measure the gap between the back of the trem block and the body (with the bridge floating parallel), then make your blocker to that size. It pins the trem block in place so you can stretch, tune, and lock the nut without the usual back-and-forth between claw screws and fine tuners.
I’ve included two sizes: 13.8mm (fits my Charvel San Dimas) and 13.5mm (fits my Schecter SLS Elite). Since not all guitars are the same, you may need to measure your own and design and print a custom size. Check the video below for a demonstration of how I use it and other 3D parts for guitar setups, and the second video for a step-by-step Fusion 360 tutorial on how I designed it. It’s a simple model that’s easy to create, even for beginners!
