WAMADO est un jeu de construction qui explore l’équilibre entre la forme, l’espace et l’action.

WAMADO est construit avec le système d’assemblage à goujons PUZLO — une méthode réversible, sans colle et sans vis. Les goujons servent d’abord à assembler des blocs stables ; ces blocs deviennent ensuite des modules de jeu que l’on place, déplace et combine sur (ou hors) du plateau.

INSPIRÉ PAR TROIS CONCEPTS JAPONAIS

Wa (Harmonie) — l’équilibre et la cohérence dans les formes assemblées ; Ma (Espace) — l’espace actif créé entre les pièces ; Do (Chemin) — l’apprentissage par la pratique, la répétition et le fait de fabriquer.

CONTENU DU MODÈLE

WAMADO se compose de deux éléments principaux :

  • une base carrée servant de plateau de jeu ;
  • un ensemble de blocs rectangulaires, conçus pour être imprimés en trois couleurs (anthracite, vert et bleu dans le jeu de référence — ou la palette de votre choix).

Les blocs s’emboîtent perpendiculairement sur la base, formant des tissages et des structures géométriques où pleins et vides travaillent ensemble.

FAÇONS DE JOUER

WAMADO offre plusieurs approches :

  • reproduire des modèles de référence ;
  • créer ses propres sculptures abstraites ;
  • se lancer des défis en construisant des structures de plus en plus complexes ;
  • explorer comment la forme et l’espace (Ma) façonnent ensemble le design final.

WAMADO est plus qu’un jeu — c’est une exploration de l’harmonie, de l’espace et du chemin de la création.

NOTES D’IMPRESSION (Résumé)

WAMADO utilise le système de goujons PUZLO à deux échelles :

  • 75 % de l'échelle PUZLO pour le plateau de jeu ;
  • 50 % pour les blocs de construction.

Trois couleurs de filament sont utilisées pour les blocs. Comme l’échelle et le filament influencent l’ajustement, des goujons de test sont fournis.

WAMADO is a construction game that explores the balance between form, space, and action.

WAMADO is built using the PUZLO dowel assembly system — a reversible method, glue-free and screw-free. The dowels are used first to assemble stable blocks; these blocks then become game modules that you place, move, and combine on (or off) the board. You can always disassemble and refine a block if you wish, but the heart of WAMADO lies in composing with these already-assembled modules.

INSPIRED BY THREE JAPANESE CONCEPTS

Wa(Harmony) — balance and coherence in the assembled forms; Ma(Space) — the active space created between parts; Do (Path) — learning through practice, repetition, and making.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

WAMADO consists of two main elements:

  • a square base serving as the game board;
  • a set of rectangular blocks, designed to be printed in three colors (anthracite, green, and blue in the reference set — or any palette you prefer).

The blocks interlock perpendicularly on the base, forming woven patterns and geometric structures where solids and voids work together.

WAYS TO PLAY

WAMADO offers several ways to play:

  • reproduce reference models to sharpen your understanding of 3D geometry;
  • create your own abstract sculptures;
  • challenge yourself by building increasingly complex structures;
  • explore how form and space (Ma) shape the final design together.

WAMADO is more than a game — it is an exploration of harmony, space, and the path of making.

PRINTING NOTES (Summary)

WAMADO uses the PUZLO dowel system at two scales:

  • 75% for the game board;
  • 50% for the building blocks.

Three filament colors are used for the blocks.

Because scale and filament influence the fit, specific test dowels are provided.
